How it works

Pay what you want, climb the ranking.

The Spooke ranking is simple and public: a site's rank depends solely on the amount paid for it, from €5.

Rank your site

  1. Paste your site's addressOn the home page or on Add my site. Choose its category (and the game for a server), and add a tagline if you like.
  2. Create your account if neededA verified email address is enough; the link you receive takes you straight back to your submission.
  3. Prove that the site is yoursPlace a code on your site: a meta tag, a file or a DNS record. Spooke reads it directly on the site. Without this proof, nobody can list a site.
  4. Wait for approvalThe team reviews your listing. You receive an email as soon as it is approved.
  5. Choose your amountFree, from €5. The resulting position is shown before you pay; payment goes through Stripe and your site appears as soon as it is confirmed.

How rank is calculated

  • Amounts add up: every new payment moves your site up.
  • For equal amounts, the site that reached that amount first stays ahead.
  • Three views: all time, the last 30 days and today (Paris time). Every payment counts in all three.
  • The ranking also exists per category and per game. Another site can always pay more: no position is guaranteed over time.
  • Ranking links are sponsored links: they are paid for by the ranked sites.

Verification and moderation

Every site in the ranking has been proven by its owner and approved by the team before any payment. The team can then remove a site that breaches the terms of use (illegal content, deception, impersonation); the owner is notified by email with the reason.

Going further

From My account, you can complete your site's listing: description, technologies, community and key figures. The detailed listing is reviewed by the team before publication, and only verified figures are shown. Project resale and auctions will build on these listings.
